Climate Change

Climate Change refers to significant alterations in temperature, precipitation, wind patterns, and other elements of the Earth’s climate system over an extended period. It is primarily driven by human activities, particularly the release of greenhouse gases like carbon dioxide and methane into the atmosphere through the burning of fossil fuels, deforestation, and industrial processes. These activities enhance the greenhouse effect, causing global temperatures to rise, which leads to various environmental impacts such as rising sea levels, more frequent and severe weather events, shifts in wildlife populations and habitats, and changes to agricultural productivity. Climate change is a critical global issue, influencing ecosystems, economies, and societies, and necessitating urgent international cooperation and action to mitigate its effects and adapt to its consequences.
